She was born on April 28th,1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Harold and Dolores Haglund. Mary graduated from Lakeville High School and went on to attend St Cloud State where she earned a degree in education.
Mary worked as a mail carrier and retired at the age of 55. After retirement she worked part time at Dick’s Sanitation and helped take care of the grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved going to the cabin. Her past times were flower gardening, quilting, sewing, baking, and travel.
Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Dolores Haglund; siblings: Kenneth Haglund, Gregory Haglund; and sister-in-law, Doris Haglund.
Survived by husband of 61 years, Jerome (Jerry) Perry; children, Renae Carlson, Steve Perry, and Lynette (Brad) Ancel; grandchildren, Perry, Christopher (Maria), Jayce, Travis, Candace, Caitlynn, CallieAnn; great-grandchildren, Gemma, Grayson, Georgia, and Gabrial.
A memorial service will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville, MN on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
