I grew up on River Street next to the Kundes. Many a summer day was playing with Larry and his siblings by the river when they visited their grandparents. So happy to hear he had a great life. He was a fun playmate down by the river. I am sure he is resting in peace in God’s hands. My condolences as you venture this journey without hearing his voice, seeing his smiles

Just found out about Lawrence’s passing and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. He helped my husband achieve residency in the US back in 2013-14 and was always so kind with a great sense of humor. We always appreciated receiving his Christmas cards! Sending love to the family.

Larry was the missionary pastor in the far edge of Alaska in the 70’s with Janet and then Mathew. No running water, no tv and long plane rides in and out.
I lived there too at that time and was greatly influenced by them both. Memorable people who  helped me in early adult challenges.

Dear Larry, the world was a much better place because of you. You are a very unique, loving and brilliant human being, Dennis and Eric will always keep you in our hearts and souls, forever.

My daughter and I called Larry our "Columbo".  He would ride his bicycle to court with his case file and jacket in his backpack.  When he got there, he would pull out his wrinkled jacket, put it on and carry his case file and backpack into court.  When he opened his mouth, he was brilliant.  I know this because he occasionally used me as an expert witness.    The opposing counsel or judges could never throw anything at him that he couldn't answer at length, including the history and Latin meaning.  The judges were amazed and amused. 
We were study buddies at Hamline Law School. I often wondered why they let me in the group because they were all so much more knowledgeable.  Larry will always have a special place in my heart.

LAWRENCE CROSBY was my family’s lawyer but he become part of our family since we met him 6 years ago, he was like a grandpa for us It was such pleasure to know someone like him, he would help us on everything. 
I enjoyed listening to his life stories , all the places he visited, all the things he tried and did while living in those countries. He would tell me all the time that he loved tacos and all the funny jokes he would make about me. May his souls rest in peace, you will be missed forever, always in our hearts🤍 the mexican girl will miss you forever but one we will meet again.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Lawrence. He was not just a friend but a mentor and father figure to me. His intelligence, kindness, and willingness to help others were truly remarkable traits that made a significant impact on my life.
I will forever be grateful for the guidance and support he provided me, especially during the challenging times of my immigration process. Without his wisdom and assistance, I wouldn't have been able to navigate through those difficult times as smoothly.
Lawrence's passing has left a void in my heart, and I can only imagine the depth of your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with him and the profound impact he had on so many lives.

The Sunday after Larry passed away, the closing hymn at my congregation was "How Great Thou Art."  The last verse of that hymn ends with, "then I shall bow, in humble adoration, and then proclaim, 'my God how great Thou art.'"

I have no doubt that Larry was doing exactly that.  His faith was one of humble adoration.

I met Larry in law school.  He was in my section first year, so he and I shared all of the same classes, and we usually wound up in the same study group.  When we graduated, we went into practice together, with our tiny office space in the University Technology Center, the building that formerly housed Marshall-U High School.

Over the years, Larry was my go-to person when it came to questions about law, ethics, religion, French, Greek, and many other subjects.  I learned one Latin word from Larry:  Helicoptrum.  He's been a friend, fellow student, law partner, spiritual adviser, and sounding board.

The last time I talked to him was late last year, when he took one of my Continuing Legal Education programs.  The subject was ethics, and, of course, he actively participated with questions I couldn't answer, and observations that I'll probably share in future classes.

We will miss you, Larry.

Lawrence Crosby was such a kind-hearted man, known for helping numerous people through his law profession. I first met him in the 80's at his Dinkytown law office, and we maintained a lasting friendship until his passing. I recall bringing my wife and kids to his Roseville office once to meet Lawrence. He was truly a good man. May the God of the prophet Abraham bless his soul.

Lawrence was a friend of mine for over 30 years. Always ready with sage advice, funny stories from his life and family, life lessons, and of course smart legal counsel. My deepest condolences to Janet and his family. He will always be one of my favorite people I've met in my life.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of Lawrence. It was truly an honor to have worked alongside him and to have learned so much from his wisdom and guidance. He was like a father to me during times when I needed someone to listen and offer advice. Lawrence will be greatly missed, and his legacy will forever be remembered.

It was such a pleasure to know Lawrence.  I enjoyed listening to his life adventures.  He always had a story.  He will be missed.  God bless you, Lawrence.  This polish girl will miss you.

It was a distinct pleasure to have known Larry as a Hamline U law classmate and friend. I remember him being a religious man with maybe a background in Latin and Greek and French languages with a master’s degree in theology/divinity and an ordained minister.. May God bless
