I am so saddened and stunned that I have just learned of Kay's death over a year ago.  We were work colleagues at Gale Research Co., she in Ft. Lauderdale and I in Detroit.  Although geographically separated, we became friends after the Ft, Lauderdale office closed (and I tried to convince her, unsuccessfully  -- probably  for the best --to move to the Detroit office).  For many years, after we'd both retired we kept up a regular email correspondence.  Kay was fun, bright, and thoughtful and so proud of her family -- I almost felt as though I knew them too.  My deepest, and very belated,  sympathy to you.
