Some fun facts about Joyce.
In the late 1960s, Joyce and three other lifelong friends opened and maintained two very successful consignment shops in Minneapolis – “Anything At All” and “Anything At All Again”.
Shortly after selling off the consignment stores, Joyce bumped into one of her high school friends from Roosevelt High School, and they opened a deli and catering business called “Delectables Deli” in Richfield, Minnesota.
Joyce and Bob loved traveling throughout Europe and Thailand with family and great friends.
Cooking was her passion, and we certainly enjoyed her craft! Joyce was sometimes affectionately known by others as “Chef Boyardee”. Besides cooking, Joyce would cherish a great garage sale, a fun find at a thrift store, buying needless items at a good warehouse sale, a pronto pup (or two) at the Minnesota State Fair, and noon lunches on weekends with a glass of wine or a pinch of salt in her beer. Most important to Joyce was her family and friends.
Although we will miss her dearly, we have been so privileged to have her in our lives and will carry her with us always.
A special thank you to all of our New Perspective and Brighton Hospice family, friends and neighbors.
