

Joseph Raymond Milbauer passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, at the age of 86. A proud Marine and skilled marksman, entrepreneur, and lifelong outdoorsman, Joe lived a vibrant life anchored by service, integrity, and a deep commitment to his community.
Joe’s passion for adventure was contagious. As the founder of Valley Bike & Ski, he turned his love for the outdoors into a lasting legacy, helping countless others discover the joy of active living. Whether he was boating, golfing, biking, or skiing, Joe was truly in his element when sharing the great outdoors with the people he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his devoted brothers, Jim (Shannon) and Michael (Phia); and his children, Mark (Jayne) and Jeff (Colleen). Joe was a proud grandfather to Michael (Emily), Anna (Seth), and Siena, and an incredibly blessed great-grandfather to Sophia and Will. He was preceded in death by his dear brother, John.
Joe’s legacy endures not only in the business he built and the family he adored, but in the countless lives he touched with his generosity, warmth, and adventurous spirit.
Celebration of life will happen on Thursday July 30th. Catholic mass at 10:00 at St. John Neumann’s Catholic Church in the chapel.
