Preceded in death by wife, Tonetta (Larkin); parents, Frank & Alice (Moris) Schiltgen; sisters, Lois Schiltz & Dolly Andreotti; and brother, Fritz.
Survived by daughter, Jeanne; son, John (Rona); grandchildren, Nick Foy (Nicolette), Kaytie Wildman (Jake), Taylor & Ben Schiltgen; great-grandchildren, Zack & Amelia Wildman; sister, Dotsy Marty; brother, James (Mary Ellen); companion, Audrey Denney; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jack was a proud 38-year employee of 3M, served as 3M Club President (Cottage Grove/Chemolite), and was an Honorary 3M Ambassador of Good Will. "BlackJack" was a former farm kid, North St. Paul student, outdoorsman, and United States Marine. He will be remembered as the life of the party and a storyteller extraordinaire. He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, cheering for MN sports teams, reading, history, golfing, playing cards, puzzles, going to the casino, and collecting a variety of items (including coins, bottles, and hats). He loved family, friends, and the Lake Elmo Inn.
