James Woodrow Burrell, of Dassel, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born on December 2, 1944 in Iowa. James worked in a variety of careers during his life including truck driver and various positions in factories, usually the shipping department. He retired in 2008 and spent the last part of his life doting on his wife and family. James was actively involved in Grace Hill Church in Cokato, MN, and had been baptized earlier this year. He loved fishing and wood working as well as spoiling his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
James is preceded in death by his wife, Louwanna Burrell. He is survived by his many loved ones including children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
The family would like to thank Allina Hospice Team and Dassel Lakeside for the care and compassion they showed James in his final days.
