Jacob "Jack" Joseph Burch

A graduate of Cretin High School, Jack was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. After discharge he worked as a firefighter FEO for St. Paul. Retirement years were spent in Mesa, AZ, where he volunteered at Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, working on big road machines that he much enjoyed. Jack loved his family, dogs and making others laugh.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Marlyss, family and friends. Jack’s loving children are Jack Burch (Vicky), Steven Burch, Ted Burch (Bev), Sherylann Nitti, Tami Shook (Paul), Paula Custy (Dan), Marcia Hubbard (David), Craig Nackerud (Laura), Susanne Legato, Rachelle Fairbanks (Ben), Leslea Schwintek (Clem), and Heidi Morgan. Jack’s loving family includes many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial service at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 1074 Idaho Avenue West, St. Paul 55117 on Monday, May 9th at 11:00 am. Interment will occur Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Memorials preferred to Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue.
