

Glenn J Hofer, of Huron, South Dakota, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 at the age of 86. He was born on January 4, 1938 in Huron, South Dakota. where he grew up.
He started his ministry in 1977 until 2018. Glenn, also known as Pastor Glenn, ministered in Christian churches in South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota. Throughout his years of ministry, he prayed with many individuals who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Pastor Glenn enjoyed spending time with his parishioners and cherished the family camp out with the Red Lodge Alliance Church, where laughter and worship filled the mountainside. The last 19 years of ministry was spent in Wagner, SD where Glenn was known for his compassionate heart, powerful sermons, and unwavering commitment to his congregation. He led Bible studies, and prayer groups, always with a focus on, walking with the Lord every day. Pastor Glenn will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Hofer, Maggie Hofer, and Edwin and Ruby Kleinsasser; and brother-in-Law, Duane Glanzer.
Glenn is survived by his Loving wife, Selby Kleinsasser Hofer of Savage, MN; children, Glenn Jr. (Celeste) Hofer, Judy Kotifani, Todd (Susan) Hofer, and Teresa Hofer (Dan) Tiernan; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers, Jerry (Marcelle) Hofer and Gordon (Ramona) Hofer; and sister, Marlette Hofer Glanzer.
Family and friends are invited to attend a “Celebration of Life” at Grace Church-9301 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55347 - Room 152 - Door #1 - Saturday, October 19th at 3:30pm. Refreshments to follow.
