Debra (Debbi) Ann Gevers

age of 64 years after a hard-fought battle with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. She was surrounded by

loved ones as she drifted into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Debbi was born on January 7th, 1960, in Minneapolis, MN to Lucille and Franklin Blake. She grew up

with her 3 siblings; Sister, Florence Cichy (Tim) and preceded in death by her 2 Brothers, Victor

Blake, and Brian Blake.

In 1978, Debbi started her 46-year career at Thermo King in Bloomington, MN. She was proud to

work for Thermo King and cherished the many friendships she made over the years.

On April 18th, 1980, Debbi married John Charles Gevers. Together, the raised 2 Daughters; Shelly

Henry (Chris) of Elgin, OK and Lindsey Racek (Riley) of Prior Lake, MN, until John’s passing in

September 2006.

During her time on Earth, Debbi enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo, crocheting, and going to

breakfast on Sundays with her friends. Debbi also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially

her Grandchildren, Brock, Allie, and Maisie and her Great Grandson, Tristen.

Debbi had a big heart and cared deeply for her family and friend’s well-being; this love continued

through her own illness. She will be missed greatly, but she will live on in all the wonderful

memories and fun times.

A Celebration of Life for Debbi will be held on December 7th, 2024, at 1:00pm at the Prior Lake V.F.W.
