Colin Bryant, age 54, of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born in New York, New York, on November 26, 1970. Colin was raised in Long Beach, California, before coming to Minnesota during his high school years – a place he would come to love and call his forever home.
Colin was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 33 years, Melissa Bryant, and their two daughters, Morgan and Taylor Bryant, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his father, John Bryant (Arlie); his mother, Helen Bryant; and his sister, Tracie Andrews.
A passionate and driven entrepreneur, Colin founded Advantage Marketing; a manufacturer rep firm in 2022 with his wife, Melissa. He brought not only vision and integrity to his work, but also a remarkable gift for connecting with people. Known for his warmth and authenticity, Colin built lasting relationships across the industry - both personal and professional. His natural leadership, creative mind, and heartfelt dedication to others left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Beyond his professional life, Colin was a man of many interests and always full of joy. He loved gardening, traveling with family and friends, boating on the lake, savoring great food, and cheering for Formula1. He had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Minnesota seasons and never ran out of reasons to light off fireworks.
To honor his legacy, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Hyland Hills Chalet, located at 8800 Chalet Road, Bloomington, MN 55438. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow.
Flowers may be sent to Hyland Hills Chalet and delivered after 10:00 AM on the day of the service.
Colin’s warmth, integrity, and zest for life touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
