Age 63, of Saint Paul. Betty passed away peacefully at home after a courageous 16-month battle with esophageal cancer. Betty was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and dear friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Theresa Colberg; sisters, Susan (infant), Lois, and Elaine. She is survived by daughters, Rebecca (Rob) and Melissa; son, Andy; husband, John; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Her faith, kindness, and compassion touched the lives of countless individuals, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th at Living Word Christian Center, 9201 75th Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55428. Visitation at 12:00 pm, service at 1:00 pm, reception to follow.
