Alana Nora Ruth Larson passed on May 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 18, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Alana lived in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Her parents Howard and Mona Heger moved the family to Deephaven. She graduated from Minnetonka High School in '61 and began her career with North Central AIrlines Where she met her husband.
Together they spent the next three years in New Orleans, LA. Returning to MN she went to work to Lufthansa German Airline. Alana and her husband, Dennis were together for 60 years, had two boys; Paul (Liz) and Mark (Anne); four grandchildren, Eben, Hailey, Grant and Alexander; and siblings, Butch Heger, Linda Baker, and Gina Hager.
Throughout their marriage they traveled to over 35 countries. In addition to enjoying anything involving grandkids, they had many pets and was an avid birder with 9 feeders.
