

Wilson Jeyakumar Raj passed away on January 5, 2022. He was born to Leela and DVT Raj in Singapore on November 16, 1959. Wilson attended Saint Andrew’s school, and later enrolled in the National Institute of Education. He received a full ride academic scholarship to attend Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelor’s in English, along with a MBA.
Wilson was employed by SAS as the Global Director of Marketing for the Customer Intelligence practice. He also served as an Advisory Council Member for Digital Marketing for The George Washington University School of Business. Prior to joining SAS, Wilson was a Marketing leader at several Fortune Global 500® companies such as Microsoft, Medtronic and Philips. He regularly advised C-level executives on digital strategy while at award-winning agencies that included Publicis Groupe and WPP-owned agencies—such as VML/Young & Rubicam and Wunderman.
Wilson was a gifted writer and speaker and was often featured in keynotes and in major media publications such as Forbes, Adweek, CMSWire, CNBC.com, InformationWeek, MarTech Advisor and more.
Wilson was a friend to all, and was known for his kindness, generosity and positive enthusiastic energy. Most importantly, he was known for his strong Christian faith and his deep love for his family.
Wilson is survived by his wife, Nora Raj, and their two children Emerson and Asher Raj; his mother Leela Raj, brother Nelson Raj, and sisters Christina Raj and Suzanna Ramos and brother-in-law Hector Ramos.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 30, 2022 from 1:30 – 3:00pm at Summit Church located at 3000 Lufkin Road in Apex, NC.
