Philip M. Pavlik, son of Zena L. Ward and Michael D. Pavlik died on August 15th, 2025 in Chapel Hill, NC. He was born on December 29th, 1939 in Johnson City, NY. He was proudly educated in Binghamton City Schools, with a history degree from Harvard University, and graduate work at Union Theological Seminary and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He taught political science and public policy for many years at North Carolina State University.
Philip will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his many unfinished home projects, and his passion for helping others through political activism. He leaves behind his partner of several years and a vast network of family and friends whose life he touched. His remains will be interred next to his parents in Vestal Hills, NY.
