Patricia Frances Bush

Patricia “Patti” Frances Bush of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021 at age 64. She was born on October 23, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John and Gwen Bush.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Wayne C. Diamond.

Patti graduated in 1974 from Pennsauken High School in Pennsauken, New Jersey. She left New Jersey to attend Averett College in Danville, Virginia, where she studied Biology/Art. Patti received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia. Later, she furthered her studies at Duke University.

Patti traveled the world as Former Associate Director Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Family Health International, Durham, North Carolina.

Patti loved animals. She will always be remembered as a conversationalist who had a wonderful sense of humor. She also enjoyed drawing and painting.

Patti is survived by her sister Linda Leon and husband Joe of Berlin, NJ. Also, her niece Christina Finnegan and nephew Joey Leon, Aunt Frances Vail cousins, Mary Juavinett, Susannah Vail and Jane Vail.

Patti wished for her services to remain private, and they will be honored at a later date.
