Beautiful sister....I am still in shock. There are no words.....I wish I could have been down there in NC....to be closer, or help in some way. You were so intelligent,...so creative, and ambitious. Life is too short to take anything for granted. I pray your soul is at peace.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and coworker, Katie Svaldi. She was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person whose warmth made a difference in every room she walked into. Katie brought positivity, steadiness, and compassion to her work and to those around her, and her absence will be felt by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and everyone who is grieving this tremendous loss.

Deepest condolences to the family.  Katie was loved and she will be missed.

I last saw Katie when she was a very young girl. I never  knew the woman she became. May she rest in peace and her close family find peace and comfort in the  good memories  of  life  shared with Katie.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Katie, as our cubicles were side by side at one point. We spent many days talking about kayaking, adventuring, and our dogs— these conversations brought so much light and laughter to the workday. Katie was a wonderful friend, a dedicated mother, and truly a joy to know. I feel grateful to have shared those moments with her, and she will be missed greatly.

You were just such a precious person, and I am so sorry to hear the news.  Your personality was unmatched, and your willingness to care for those around you was so admirable. I went to look at our old texts..and years ago we were talking about some of your struggles, and I asked you if you are OKAY. You replied, “I am hanging in there. Some days I didn't feel I would ever survive but I did because my kids were more important than my ex's ego” so if there is one thing I will ALWAYS remember about you Katie, it is how deeply and fiercely you loved those kids. And everyone around you.  Maybe God decided you were too much of a true angel to keep walking on Earth…and I hope you are up there knowing how much of a difference YOU made in so many people’s lives!!! Till we meet again Katie Katie, Bo-batieeeee!!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍

Katie will forever be missed. She was a wonderful person and a good friend. The world was better with her in it. Her kindness, warmth, humor, and spirit touched everyone who knew her. Katie had a way of making people feel seen and heard. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family and friends.
