Dorothy Anna McClellan

Dorothy Anna McClellan, also known as Miss Dottie who passed May 23, 2023 peacefully at her home to be with Jesus and those who proceeded her in death. Miss Dottie was a preschool teacher for 25 years and shared her love for Jesus Christ with all of her students. She was a woman of strong faith and conviction. She was born in New York and lived in California for 52 years. Recently moved to Garner, North Carolina where she loved, and to be with her son and his family. Miss Dottie was the blessed mother of her daughter, Darlene Maria of AZ and son. David K. McClellan of NC; grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her children, family and friends. One of Miss Dottie’s favorite life verses was Psalm 23: 1-6. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul: He guideth me in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
