Ronald R Brown

Ron started his career in Radio Broadcasting while in High School in Bartow Florida. He continued on

in the profession while living in Madison Florida, followed by Winter Haven. Eventually he moved to Charlotte County and worked for several years with WCCF where he also hosted the 'Charlotte County Speaks' radio talk show. From there he moved into the television arena joining WINK TV for many years followed by Fox TV where he was General Sales Manager in advertising.

Ron loved traveling with his wife Ginger and other family members as well as friends. Some of his favorite trips were Alaska, Hawaii, Paris and the mountains of North Carolina. His trip to Israel with Ginger and other Church members was one of the highlights of his life.

He loved being a member of the Peace River Baptist Church family and was very proud when asked to be a Deacon. It gave him a sense of purpose and responsibility that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be sorely missed by all.

Survivors include his spouse,Virginia Brown (Ginger), his children, Teri L. Provencal, (Daughter),

Kevin R. Brown,(Son), Patrick R. Brown, (Son), Mark C. Brown, (Son to both Ron and Ginger), and Ann Banks, (Sister). Ron has 10 grandchildren: (listed by age) Todd, Ryan, Shayna, Kyle, Evan, Ty, Jackson, Eden, Shane, Levi He also has four great grandchildren: (listed by age) Addison, Carson, Avery, Clementine.He was predeceased by: His father Arch; Mother Florence; and his Brother William L. Brown.

A Memorial Service will be held at Peace River Baptist Church on 08/03/21, at 2:30 pm, 478 Berry Street,

Punta Gorda, Florida 33950.
