

Kelly was Baptist by Faith.
Kelly was preceded in death by his parents Laquita and Glen, his brother Mike Morgan and his sister Sheila Hall.
Kelly was survived by his loving and loyal wife Patricia Morgan, many nieces, nephews, Aunts and cousins whom he
loved very much.
Kelly was in the Cub Scouts and cherished every lesson he learned.
Kelly joined the Army in 1973. He did his Basic Training in Fort Riley, Kansas. He served in Augusta, Georgia at
Fort Gordon, where he met his future bride Patricia Morgot Cannon. They married on February 17, 1979 in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kelly served 1 year in Anchorage, Alaska and was honorably discharged in 1980.
Kelly finished his career working at 7-11 and Circle K convenience stores and fully retired in 2017.
Kelly and Patricia lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for 27 years and moved to Florida in 2001 where he lived the
remainder of his life.
Kelly loved going to see movies at the theater, dining out, listening to music, reading books, gathering with friends
and family, traveling and going on vacations. He loved wood working and wood carving, making jewelry and bead
working and crafts. He had a fun personality and loved joking around with everyone and his little antics.
Kelly was a very loving Husband and loyal friend. He will be missed and Always in our hearts.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., 2565 S Tamiami Trl, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. It is suggested that everyone wear bright colors rather than black. Kelly loved bright colors!
