Renee Parmigiani, a deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and trusted friend to many, passed away on May 1, 2026, joining her beloved husband, Walter, whom she missed dearly.
Renee was immensely proud of every role she held in life, as a mom, grandma, great grandma, etc. She cultivated a unique and special relationship with each of her three children, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, extended family members, and countless friends — always making each person feel as though they were the center of her world. She celebrated every accomplishment, large and small, and spoke proudly of the people she loved.
Both within her family and among her wide circle of friends, Renee was often described as “one of a kind” and “like no other.” During the past five years living in a senior community in Anthem, she formed some of the deepest friendships of her life. She loved those friends as she loved her own family. One grieving resident shared, “Your mom is the finest human I have ever known.” That sentiment was echoed throughout the community, where her untimely passing has left a profound void.
Renee is survived by her three sons: Michael (Susie), Raymond (Donna), and David (Kathy); her adored grandchildren Emily, William, Patrick, and Hannah; and her treasured great-grandchildren Luca and Micah. She is also survived by her sister Shelly (Steve); her brother Hugh; and Walter’s siblings Donna (Jeff), Rich (Sandi), and Debbie, all of whom join in mourning her loss.
Service and burial arrangements, along with a celebration of Renee’s life with her many friends in the senior community, are currently being organized.
