

Glenn Douglas Burrow Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Mesa, Arizona on March 5, 2024. He was born to Edith Elizabeth Middleton and Joel Elmore Burrow in Mangum, Oklahoma on July 6, 1932. He was the youngest of 14 brothers and sisters. Glenn graduated from Yuma, Arizona High School in 1952.
He married Norleen Romney Smith and had four children; Doug, Cindy, Cheryl and Krista. He raised his family in Scottsdale, Arizona. Glenn was a plumber by trade and a member of Plumber/Pipefitter Union Local 469 for 67 years. During his retirement he moved to Gold Canyon, AZ. He enjoyed living close to the Superstition Mountains and the association of many good friends. He loved country western dancing, riding horses, wearing western clothes and the cowboy lifestyle in general. Glenn especially loved his family and family gatherings. He loved the southwest desert and in particular the State of Arizona. Glenn was a patriot at heart and loved his country.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Joel and Elizabeth, his 14 siblings and two grandchildren Jason Burrow and Sheala Clark. Glenn is survived by his four children; Glenn Douglas Burrow Jr. (Cheryl), Cindy Rogers (Renny), Cheryl Lynn Clark (Norm) Krista Lyn Nuttall (Jacob). He was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
At Glenn's request he was cremated with no funeral services. A celebration of life for family members will be held at a later date. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The family expresses heart-felt gratitude to Brookdale Springs Assisted Living, Valiant Hospice Care and Endeavor Home Care for their tender love and compassion while caring for Glenn.
