Thomas S. Bartels passed away at his home on August 4, 2026 at the age of 76 after an extended illness. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary. Together they shared a lifetime of love, devotion and cherished memories. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.Tom loved to travel. He and Mary spent several years traveling in their RV visiting 50 states with Bailey, their cat.
Tom was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren always speaking of their accomplishments. Tom is also survived by his two daughters Yvonne (Robert) Balzer and Barbara Bartels, two granddaughters Cristina (Andrew) and Erin (Ryan). Also by many extended family members and friends who became family.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Nicole, his parents John and Ruth Beecher and sister Eileen Bartels. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 22, 2026 at National Cremation and Burial Society 7565 Red Bug Lake Rd Oviedo, FL 32765. Visitation 11am-1pm, Service at 1pm.
