Rosa Rodriguez, age 92, died peacefully on December 20, 2020 in Winter Park, Florida.
Rosa is preceded by Luis Rodriguez-Negron, her late husband of 47 years, who passed away in July 2010. She is survived by their two daughters, Dennisse Zornan and Aeleen Scherzer.
She was born on October 15, 1928 in San Pedro de Marcoris, Dominican Republic to the parents of Marcedonio and Eduvigue Jimenez. She was a retired pattern maker from New York City before moving to Winter Park, Florida to become a business owner in 1986.
Rosa was a caring person and a great mother. She adored her four grandchildren Angelica, Joshua, Amanda, and Sarah; and nine great-grandchildren.
She had a very generous and creative soul. She enjoyed crocheting and was devoted to growing over 20 different species of roses and became an active member of the Orlando Area Historical Rose Society.
