Megan Anne Cannistraci

Megan Anne Cannistraci, age 9, passed away from Juvenile Huntington's Disease and walked with Jesus on December 4, 2020 peacefully at her home in Winter Springs, FL surrounded by her loving family. Megan is survived by her mother and father Russell and Deena, her sister Sarah, brother Brandon, Penelope (Penny) her Hedgehog, maternal grandparents Marvin and Susie King, paternal grandmother Raynice Doe, Uncle Chris and Aunt Carolyn King, cousins Elisa and Katy King, Uncle Nathan Doe, and cousins Lily, Olivia, Paige and Cody Doe. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Russell Cannistraci and her hamster Gingerbread. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 12, 2020 at 10 am eastern at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 350 W Artesia St, Oviedo, FL 32765. Dress is church attire (Sunday Best) and face masks and social distancing will be followed. A livestream will be available at ................ Megan was born with a light that shined so bright on everyone who knew her. She carried a spirit and joy for life . She never complained as Juvenile Huntington's Disease slowly took away her independence. She took whatever circumstance came her way and never let it stop her from what she wanted to do! She brightened every person's life with her witty jokes, funny faces and charm. She gave herself to others, sacrificed for others, and she always, always thought about others, always making sure to ask me to buy something for her brother and sister, a friend at school or offering a gift she received to share with others. She truly was an example of how to share our Savior's love with others. The Savior said, ‘Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven,’ and I know that Megan did just that.
