Dear Julia and family, I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. I find myself at a loss for words to find this shocking information about Kenny, my nephew.
Vicky, his mother, was my younger sister who lived in Louisiana.

Ken, you were a kind and gentle soul. You were my friend, and I'm sorry I couldn't see you off. I pray every day for your family,  and know you are looking down going what? That's not what I wanted.  We talked about our going away celebration of life. I'll be doing today what we talked about to celebrate you. 
Safe travels  .  And sing amazing grace for you.

In light of this very sudden and sad news,
I would like to offer some words about Ken. My name is Edward Martinez, better known as Mr. Eddy. I work with Ken’s stepson Travis as a Life Skills Coach at his school.
My interactions with Ken have always been as a caring guardian, attentive and always quick to offer advice and direction to Travis in his times of need. I could tell he cared deeply about Travis’s growth and development, and took that job very seriously.
He picked Travis up quite often and was always interested in knowing about his day. At times he needed to be stern in order to make a point, but it always seemed to come from a deep and loving place.
Recently Travis and Ken had the opportunity to take a trip to my hometown of New York together. Travis spoke about it daily, building up to the week they were to leave.
When they returned, Travis spoke about sharing his first NY pizza slice with Ken, and being dazzled by the lights and crowded streets.
Now, in retrospect, this was to be one of their last opportunities to truly bond.
It warms my Heart to know that they were able to have that moment to experience something so special together.
From my present perspective, this was more than a special opportunity, but a true Gift, meant to leave a lasting impression and seal the positive relationship both Ken and Travis shared together.
Although his physical presence has moved on, Ken’s Energy and Spirit will always be present in the Lives of His Loved Ones.

You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts. 💔

Ken will be greatly missed by all! I didn’t know him as well as most, but he was always kind, lighthearted and joyful. I pray for peace for all his family and friends!

I Kenneth only one time  and I  know he made Julia happy.  Praying for the family.

Ken was one of the most supportive parents we had at The Paragon School. How lucky Travis is to have had Ken in his life.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.  May God give you the strength to go on without Ken.

Words cannot express how heartbroken we are by this. Kenny was such an amazing person and gone too soon. Julia please know that my mom and I are thinking about you and sending our love and condolences but I know nothing we do or say helps right now. My mom said the last thing Kenny said to her was “I love you” and she wants you to know aunt Cindy loves you too and going to miss you like crazy.  ❤️
