Keith G. Rose, Sr. passed away on August 29, 2026 at the age of 83. He was born in Willimantic, Connecticut on April 30, 1943 to the late Keith V. Rose and Rose Marie DeNigro Rose. He spent most of his youth growing up in upstate New York with four brothers, Gary Rose, Wilton Rose, David Rose and Ron Rose; two sisters, Brenda Rose Paladino and Marge "Margie" Rose Zimmerman (deceased).
Keith served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965 when he was Honorably Discharged.
Keith is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ruth Treadwell Rose; daughter, Renee Hobbs (husband, John Hobbs); sons, Keith G. Rose, Jr. (wife, Mellonie Rose) and Christopher Rose (wife, Kristina Reyes); grandchildren, Hayden Hobbs, Hunter Hobbs Poss, Sinead Rose Poole, Keith V. Rose, II and Josh Ament and great grandchild, Brynlee Poss.
The family would like to thank AdventHealth Hospice House in Altamonte Springs for their compassion in caring for our beloved Keith. Also, to First Light Home Care for their caregivers who helped us transition into our home care duties.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Celebration of Life on Friday, September 18, 2026 at National Cremation & Burial Society, 7565 Red Bug Lake Road, Oviedo, FL 32765. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm with the Air Force Honors at 12:30 pm followed by Chaplain José Torres from AdventHealth Hospice Care.
Interment will be at a later date in New York and Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
