Enrique Daniel Castro was born on July 5, 1997, in Cape Coral, Florida, to Elieser and Betzaida Castro. On August 28, 2005, his little brother was born, Julian Castro, the little brother that Danny longed for and would ask God for.
On November 26, 2022, he was united in matrimony with the love of his life, Alexis M. Maestre, and the rest of her family, in which he gladly and openly joined.
He became a father on October 4th, 2025, with a little bundle of joy named Xavier, which brought them and the families so much joy.
Danny was a gift to our lives, a great and loving son, respectful and humble. A supportive and loving brother, a responsible, dedicated, and loving husband and father. He also loved his two four-legged kids, Wheeler and Piper.
Everywhere he worked, he was responsible, a team member, a goal setter, a team player, and a hard worker, loved by everyone he worked with.
A city boy with a country boy’s heart, he enjoyed boating, fishing, mudding, and spending time with his wife and family. Danny’s life was grounded in what mattered most to him - God, family, home, and friends.
Danny is survived by his wife, Alexis M. Castro, son, Xavier Castro, his parents, Elieser & Betsy Castro, his brother, Julian, his only surviving grandparent, Lydia Andujar, and uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Danny, aka Big “D”…may you rest in peace.
