Dorothy Gertrude McGuinness, age 95, passed away on February 25, 2026. Dorothy was a beloved and thoughtful woman whose life reflected steady devotion to others and quiet strength.
Born on November 9, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dorothy graduated from Little Flower High School in Germantown, Pennsylvania.
A lifelong volunteer, Dorothy gave her time in service to others throughout her entire life, including volunteer work at Palm Valley.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John & Dorothy Weckbecker, and her husband, Charles McGuinness.
She is survived by her sisters: Margaret Muni (Weckbecker), Erma Young (Weckbecker), Barbara Carr (Weckbecker); and a host of nieces and nephews.
