Donald H Jones

Donald (Don) H. Jones passed away on November 27, 2021 at his home in Oviedo, FL after a short illness. Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Terese (Costello) Jones, daughter Jennifer (Jones) Abraham, son-in-law Marc Abraham, grandson Connor Abraham, brother Ralph Jones, sister-in-law Madeline Jones, nieces Jamie (Jones) Reel, Tammy (Jones) Simmons, Debbie (Jones) Wittig and nephew Christopher Jones. Preceded in death are grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jones (previous West View Police Department Chief of Police), parents Ralph and Ruth Jones, brother David Jones, sister-in-law Lois Jones, nephew Jason Jones and niece Dawn (Jones) Bowser.

Don was born in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from North Hills High School in June 1966. He also resided in West View, PA, Boca Raton, FL and Gahanna, OH before settling in Oviedo, FL for his retirement. During his working years, he loved being a tool and die maker and machinist. Don loved the ocean, golfing, traveling the western United States, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins, spending time with his family, and being a Pap to his grandson Connor. Don was a kind and gentle man who will be missed deeply by his family.

Internment/celebration of life will be determined at a future date.
