She was known by friends and family as Chris or Christy. She was loved for her witty sense of humor, thoughtful and generous gift giving, her love for books and movies, ability to make friends with everyone, and appreciation for quality time with family. She especially loved her time with her grandchildren. During her lifetime, she enjoyed attending sports and activities for her children and grandchildren, volunteering for charitable causes, leading Jenny’s girl-scout troop, going dancing, traveling, playing cards, and joining many social events with friends and family in Minnesota and Florida. She collected lighthouses and anything with a yellow smiley face. The yellow smiley face was a perfect symbol for the joy that she brought wherever she went. Chris spent her final 15 years of life with her incredibly loving and devout husband, Dean. He was the love of her life and she often referred to him as her best friend.
