

AnnaMarie Petrangelo (née Punzi), 91, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away on June 30, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1931 in Rochester, New York to Mary Greco and Vincent Punzi.
AnnaMarie built her life with her husband, Amedio “Mel” Petrangelo, raising three children, and celebrating 63 years of marriage, before his passing in 2014. They moved to Florida in 1978, and began calling Winter Springs, Florida home in 1991. She had many interests and was self-taught in many areas. AnnaMarie enjoyed music, playing the keyboard and piano earlier in her life. She studied politics, enjoyed the computer, meticulous handwork, and was an avid reader.
She worked as a seamstress for an interior decorator, producing bedroom suite ensembles and draperies; her work was to perfection. AnnaMarie also took interest in technology, and worked as a secretary to the district manager of Radio Shack. She also trained as an electrologist, and briefly owned her own business. Of all the hats she wore, she will be most remembered as an excellent homemaker, mother, and wife to her family.
AnnaMarie is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Amedio “Mel” Petrangelo; and her parents, Mary Greco and Vincent Punzi.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Ann (Anthony) Franca, Karenna Petrangelo, and Sheila Kipp; grandchildren, Danielle (Brandon) Shelley, and Jason (Kathy) Franca; her great-grandchildren, Abbigail, Erin, and Christian; her niece and nephew, Corinne Cavagnaro and Rick Marcella; and her sister, Rosaline (Richard) Marcella.
AnnaMarie lived like she was never going to die, staying true to herself, always. She had a vibrant presence and a sharp mind. She loved being a mother.
