Andy Ortiz

Andy Ortiz, 53, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away on May 21, 2025. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Nelly and Feliciano Ortiz of Puerto Rico, Andy was one of ten siblings and grew up surrounded by a large and loving family.

He is survived by his devoted fiancé, Claudia Velez, and his siblings: Magaly Ortiz, Feliciano Ortiz Jr., William Ortiz, Eric Ortiz, Miriam Ortiz, Elizabeth Ortiz, Alexandro Ortiz, Belinda Ortiz, and Albaliris Ortiz. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored him deeply.

During his high school years, Andy was an avid athlete, playing both baseball and basketball. He had a lifelong passion for cars and loved old-school salsa and freestyle music. He was also known for his talent in doodling, often sketching just for fun.

Andy will be remembered most for his infectious laughter, constant jokes, and positive spirit. He was a true friend to many, always spreading joy and light wherever he went. His love for his family and the warmth he shared with others made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at National Cremation & Burial Society in Oviedo, Florida, on May 27 2025 at 4pm followed by burial at Osceola Memory Gardens May 28, 2025 at 1pm.

Andy will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
