He was born on July 23, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York to William and Mary (Groffeo) Schneider. Willam will be missed by his wife, Dale Schneider of 42 years; his son Joshua (Melissa) Schneider; grandsons Dylan and Liam Laing; his sister Diane Zaug; 3 nephews; a sister-in-law Lynn Rosenfeld and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Rosemarie Schneider.
William was an army veteran who served in Vietnam. He was the owner and operator of Superior Garage Doors on Long Island for 30 years. All will remember William as full of love and laughter.
Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at National Cremation & Burial Society.
