

Thomas Anthony Perry, passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Myers, Florida on May 18, 2026. Tom was surrounded by his family, and his loving wife of 72 years. To the world, he was just a man, but to his family, he was their world! He will always be remembered for his sense of humor lightheartedness, and lifelong dedication to his family. Tom was born June 18, 1934 in Middleboro, MA. Tom is an honored Veteran of the US Navy and served in The Korean War from 1952-1956. After the Navy, Tom settled in Middleboro, Massachusetts where he raised a beautiful family. Tom and Mary met through his older brother, Charlies, and at the time his girlfriend Bobbie, soon to be wife. Bobbie and Charlie deserve a medal for encouraging a union that spanned over 72 years! The Perry's resided in Middleboro, until Tom's official retirement in June of 2000. Tom was a man of many talents and had a very diversified career. After serving his country, be began a career in aluminum siding and moved up in ranks by becoming a salesman for Carlton Aluminum for many years. He then reinvented his direction and became an insurance salesman for Bankers Life, where he successfully achieved being the 10th top salesman for the company in the entire country! After Tom's retirement, he relocated with his wife to Wilmington, North Carolina; where he became an avid golfer and worked at The Beau Rivage Golf Course. No doubt meeting many people who loved him. Tom was a lifetime member of The Upland Sportsman's Club, in Plympton, Mass., eventually becoming the president for ten years! He was also the President of the Linden Ct. HOA at his residence in Wilmington, NC. No matter what Tom did, he embodied class, dignity, and love. He enjoyed summers in Massachusetts with his daughter Brenda and her partner Jr., and wintered in Florida in Fort Myers, Florida with his other daughter, Debbie and her husband, Tony. Tom was a talented piano and accordion player and loved to sing! Tom lived a full life and a life well lived! Tom is survived by his beautiful wife of 72 years, Mary Perry, his daughters Debbie Baker (Tony Wiggers) and Brenda Pittsley (Junior Pittsley), and his son Jeff Perry. Tom had many grandchildren including Jennifer Cullivan, Nicholas Guidaboni, Jodi Baker, and Shane Guidaboni. Tom's great grandchildren include Alexis and Jake Cullivan, and Felix, Alex, and Elliott Guidaboni. Tom is also survived by his brother, Jim and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Alice Perry; his brothers Charlies, Junior, and Teddy; his sisters Blanche and Alice. Tom left a legacy that will live on in the lives of his family members. May he rest in peace knowing the life he created, impacted and influenced the lives of the generations to come. He will always be remembered for his bright smile, warm heart, and sense of humor. What we have once enjoyed deeply, we can never lose. Do not be sad that Tom is no longer with us. Rejoice in the memories of how well his life was spent!
