

Robert John Brice (Bob) passed away on May 21, 2020 in Fort Myers, Florida. He was the sixth generation of his family to be born in America and the only son of Ernest and Marie Brice of Cleveland, Ohio. Bob attended Cathedral Latin High school, graduating in 1950. He was awarded an athletic scholarship to Western Reserve University where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, graduating in 1954 with a Bachelor of Business degree. He married Rosemary Lorraine Percent of Lakewood, Ohio in 1955, owned a small insurance brokerage business in Willoughby, Ohio from 1965 to 2002, and held the elected position of Clerk for the Township of Kirtland, Ohio where he lived from 1959 to 2002. He was a member and past president of the Willoughby, Ohio Rotary Club, and served on several condominium association boards upon relocating to Florida where he took up golf and enjoyed a very active social life. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, his two sons, Robert Anthony Brice (Cynthia) of Bluffton, South Carolina, and John Charles Brice (Andrea) of Henderson, Nevada, four grandchildren, Emily Binder Brice, Robert John Brice II, Allessandra MacAindra Brice, and Evan MacFarlane Brice.
