

John Conrad Kroner III, 93 passed away peacefully with his loving wife Margrit holding his hand on April 28, 2026. He is remembered as a remarkable and loving Man by many. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on April 26th, 1933 to Elaine Burroughs and John Conrad Kroner II. Both predeceased him. He graduated from SMU with a Marketing degree in 1955. John worked for a number of years in the Oilfield Industry, which carried him to many places in the world. In 1974 he decided to move from Houston, TX to Fort Myers, FL to pursue a different lifestyle and business opportunities. He designed, built and operated Kroner`s Smokehouse Bar B Q Restaurant on US 41 for 15 years.
He married Margrit Albrecht in Canada in 1971. She opened a successful Ladies Boutique Ninon in Ft Myers for 19 years. After their retirement they enjoyed travel, fishing, tennis and the outdoors. John was a happy man, he loved his family and Country. He was especially proud of his family, they are all producers, achievers and loving souls.
He is survived by wife Margrit, his daughters Lisa Miller (Herb) and Julie Adams (John) and 5 grandchildren, Claire Hill, Andrew Langley, Mary Martha Yancey, Wil Gaiennie and Jack Gaiennie.
As well as 10 Great Grandchildren., of Shreveport, LA and Houston, TX and Winston-Salem, N.C.
He is predeceased by his son, John C. Kroner IV.

Thoughts of his wife Margrit: as the saying goes John, was my soulmate, my best friend, my life, my Everything. He was the most loving, caring, selfless and generous man. He always was thinking and praying for others, also had a great attitude and sense of humor right to his end. We were blessed with a full and wonderful marriage of 55 years.
