

Frank Williamson passed away on May 30, 2026, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida, at the age of 92. He was born on January 30, 1934, in Findlay, Ohio, and graduated from Findlay High School in 1952.
He married Barbara Ann Burke, and they were blessed with one son, David, who was born in Munich, Germany. Frank also adopted Barbara's two children, Pam and Mike. He later married Delia Rojas, who passed away from cancer. On December 14, 2016, he married his current wife, Kathleen (Joy), who survives and resides in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Frank retired from the U.S. Army and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service in El Paso, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Mae (Landers) Williamson, and his father, Luis Frank Williamson.
Frank was the sixth of nine children. His siblings who preceded him in death were Hilda Smith, Robert Eugene Williamson, Nancy Kolinski, Jake Williamson, and Betty Yeager. Surviving siblings include Judith Boyd, Doris Myers, and Jim Williamson, who remained in constant contact with Frank, often sharing news about his nieces, Jo Lynn Williams and Julie Wright.
Frank was an easygoing person with a great sense of humor. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved cats, especially his last cat, Princess.
His body will be cremated and interred at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
