She began working as a bookkeeper part-time and over the years worked various bookkeeping and payroll positions as well as running her own businesses, including a daycare, patio furniture, canvas awnings, enclosed sunrooms, coffee shops and card shops. She loved to sing and did so often. Even as Alzheimer’s consumed her, she retained her happy disposition and love of singing hymns. She was a Christian and spoke openly about her faith. Over the years, she served in many ways to better this world and bring light where there was darkness.
Evelyn was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but we will all feel joy knowing that she is with her Lord and singing praises once again.
