Born on August 22, 1946 in Buffalo New York to Walter and Gertrude Likus.
David was a veteran of the US Navy, having served in the Vietnam war. He was a member of the VFW Post and a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America #268 and the Past Commander of the Navy/Marine Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Likus; his mother, Gertrude Likus; his brother James Likus; and his granddaughter, Alyssa Likus.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah Likus; his sons, Keith Likus, Jason Likus, and Nikolaus Likus; his grandchildren, Ashley (Trevor) Kelly, Amber (Austin) Sullivan, Marissa Likus, and Trent Likus; and his great-grandchildren, Riley, Delaney, Aspen, Emersyn, and Ivy.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on August 12, 2026 from 4pm - 8pm at National Cremation & Burial Society of North Fort Myers, located at 3453 Hancock Bridge Pkwy, North Fort Myers, FL 33903.
