Carol Ann Plambeck

Carol Ann Plambeck, born on April 7, 1941, departed this earthly realm on October 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert John Plambeck Sr., and her cherished granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Plambeck.

Left to carry on her memory and legacy are her children: Robert John Plambeck Jr. and his wife, Barbara; Robin Jo Winter and her husband, Paul; Kim Ann Hibbert and her husband, David; and Keith Alan Plambeck and his wife, Kelley.

Her ten surviving grandchildren never missed a chance to poke fun with Carol, aka Granny P: Brittany Schwartz, Shyana Hibbert, Brandy Hibbert, Lexus Hibbert, Amber Egan, Steven Winter, Ryan Winter, Connor Winter, Piper Winter, and Kaylee Plambeck. She was known as Gigi by her twelve great-grandchildren, who would never go cold with the amount of quilts and blankets she lovingly hoarded for them.

Carol was a woman of unique character, known for her quick wit and a penchant for finding the best deals during shopping sprees. She had a passion for Elvis impersonators that could rival any enthusiast. Her annual autumn vacations in a quaint cabin in Ellijay with her dear late friend, Darlene were as special to her as the cruises she embarked on with another dear late friend, Jan. Life handed her more than her fair share of challenges, but her spirit remained unbroken, and her family wishes to emphasize that she was always cherished and loved, no matter the obstacles she faced. Now, she has found her eternal rest and went home to be with Daddy.

In honoring Carol's memory, her family will host a series of small, private celebrations of her life in Florida and Tennessee. Carol was a dedicated supporter of Faith Assembly of God and the Humane Society. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider supporting these organizations, as they were causes dear to her heart.

Though she’ll be deeply missed by many, may she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones in the embrace of the divine.
