

Sharon Ann Canino, née Klaput, age 73, passed away October 12, 2024 at Rush University Medical Center, surrounded by her beloved children. Sharon was born January 10, 1951, to Florence, née Kominowski and William Klaput and was raised in Cicero, IL in a family that valued love, compassion, and dedication.
Sharon was a proud and compassionate Registered Nurse whose caring nature extended far beyond her professional life. She always put her patients first, and her nurturing spirit carried through to her family. Whether at work or at home, Sharon was a selfless caregiver, always placing the needs of others above her own.
As the loving wife of Samuel “Buddy” Canino, they shared a life full of love and dedication. She was the devoted mother of Lisa Feichtl and Joseph Canino, both of whom were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense happiness, and she cherished watching her granddaughter, Siena, grow into an amazing 5 year old.
Sharon was also the loving mother-in-law of Jeff Feichtl and Michele Canino, and her kindness and care extended to them as well. Sharon’s nurturing heart and warmth will be remembered by all who knew her.
Sharon's kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family and community will be remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; her granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother and father, Florence and William Klaput; her husband, Buddy Canino; and her brothers, Donald and Thomas Klaput.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Pius Church, 4300 S Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A celebration of life following will be announced at the mass.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
