Hannelore was the beloved mother of Klaus (Mary) Allseits and Suzanne (Michael) Macella; a loving grandmother of five; and an adoring great-grandmother of nine, with one on the way!
She enjoyed mahjong, bingo, and socializing with her friends.
The family has fond memories of Hannelore driving them up to Razorback Lake in Sayner, WI, where they enjoyed hiking, fishing, and swimming across the lake.
Suzanne remembers being in Girl Scouts and Hannelore took a large group of girls to a Girl Scout campground. The girls were not happy that they had to do chores early in the morning, so they snuck into her mother’s tent and set her alarm back an hour. When Hannelore’s alarm went off and she realized what time it was, she woke all the campers, and they had to clean the bathrooms and campgrounds. That trick backfired on them.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Avenue, Shorewood, IL 60404.
