George Joseph Malina Jr.

He was born in New Britain, CT on August 24, 1938 to Theresa and George Malina, Sr. He leaves his beloved wife Barbara of 66 years of marriage. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was predeceased by his son Glen (Tiger) and his parents. He was the loving father of Laurie Saitta and son-in-law Randy Saitta. He (Pa-Pa) is survived by grandson Brian Saitta (spouse Andria) and granddaughter Heather Beach, and 3 great-granddaughters Aviana, Niyah and Colette. Also survived by a brother Robert Malina from California.

After retiring from Sherwood Tool in Berlin, CT George and Barbara enjoyed many retirement years at Carolina Shores, North Carolina.

George was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. His main passions were golfing, his many cars and trucks and being an avid New York Giants (big blue) fan which he LOVED watching the games with Randy and Brian.

George was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, 222 McVeagh Road, Westbrook, CT on Friday, August 21st, 2026 at 11:00 A.M., followed by Military Honors. Burial will be private.
