Eric S. Reeve

Eric was a proud graduate of Westbrook High School, Class of 1991, where he was a standout lettered athlete. He spent countless hours on the basketball court, deeply proud of his time playing as a “White Knight.” He pursued his higher education at American International College in Springfield, Mass., studying business from 1996 to 1999.

After graduating from college, he worked in sales at Pharmedica in Killingworth before ultimately deciding to open his own landscaping business. He loved being physical, staying active, and working outdoors, so building a landscaping business in his local community was a perfect fit. He was the proud owner and operator of Reeve Landscaping for over 20 years. Eric also served his community as a member of the Westbrook Planning Commission for three consecutive terms from 2011 to 2023.

Outside of work, Eric stayed dedicated to his passion for sports and physical fitness through weightlifting and continuing to play basketball. He was also a passionate competitor in fantasy football, where his team, the Connecticut Colonials, captured five Fantasy League of Westbrook championships.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, George and Ginger Reeve. He will be laid to rest alongside them at Cypress Cemetery in Westbrook. He is survived by his cousin, Richard Norton, and Richard’s wife, Jennifer; along with their two children, Julie and Richard, all of Westbrook.

A memorial service for Ginger Reeve will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Westbrook Congregational Church. A dual Celebration of Life gathering for both Eric and Ginger will also be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at The 1784 Cottage at The Westbrook Elks Club.

As Eric would say, “Godspeed.”
