For some reason, I no longer remembered that Cousin Larry and I shared a birthday, January 5th!  I guess that explains why, though he was 12 years older than I, he is in so many of my earliest birthday party photos 😄  We most likely combined our family bday parties until I was 6 and he was ready to leave for college at 18.   What I remember most about Larry was his great smile and his wonderful laugh.  I can still see and hear those to this day.  I did get to reunite with him about a decade ago at a family gathering in Breckenridge.   Age was beginning to take it's toll, but I again felt his natural warmth radiating from him, and that contagious laugh had not aged one bit.   One of our relatives had done a deep dive into our ancestry, turning up some evidence that an ancestor, Deacon John Larkin, had loaned Paul Revere his horse ('Brown Beauty' ) for his famous ride.  This reminded me of a very funny Steven Colbert bit on Revere.  Although our politics may have been different, Larry was the (one) relative who wanted to watch it with me.  Again, the sparkle of his smile and laughter.  Thank you, Larry, for gifting me that on both our birthdays and our reunion!!!
