Larry was born in Canton, Ohio to Rose and Jacob Fish on May 31, 1933. He had a twin brother Stanley Fish.
He attended Canton McKinley High School, Canton, Ohio.
Larry served proudly in the Korean War Conflict as an active member in the U.S. Air Force from July 1, 1952 to June 30, 1956 with an honorable discharge.
Larry married Phyllis Rosen on November 18, 1956 at Park Synagogue, Cleveland, Ohio.
He worked in the car business for over 50 years selling Chevrolets for Central Chevrolet, located in downtown Cleveland, and over 30 yrs at Bass Chevrolet till they closed, and he retired.
Larry and Phyllis spent over 30 yrs as “snow birds” in Marco Island Florida, until his wife passed in 2004, and Larry settled in Naples Florida with his family.
Larry enjoyed exercise, bocce ball, shuffleboard, traveling, Veteran functions, and loved watching his Ohio sport teams. His greatest achievement besides doting on his loving family was completing a 26 mile marathon in Cleveland . He was also very active with Naples Veterans.
Larry is preceded in death by Phyllis Fish (wife), Rose and Jacob Fish (parents), Cora Silver (sister), Shirley Fish (sister), Stanley Fish (twin brother).
Larry is survived by daughters Susan Joseph (Lawrence), and Laurie Wolf, grandchildren Jamie Joseph (Ashlynn), Chad Joseph (Erika ), Dustin Wolf (Rachel), Stevi Wolf, great grandchildren Alec Branco, Greyson Wolf, and Delilah Wolf.
