Deb was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in September 2024 and fought valiantly until she took her last breath just one year later. She is now free of pain. She will be forever missed in the hearts of many.
Deb was preceded in death by her mother Norma, and her father Richard. She leaves her twin sister and best friend Pam, her sister Brenda, and her brother Rick (Jackie ). She was also preceded in death by her partner of 37 years, Sue Filip, who passed away in January 2024. She adored her nieces, nephews, and grandnieces: Rob, Kyle, Thomas, Rhiannon Bradshaw (Ben), Tobias Ecsedy (Emily), Rosemary, and Eleanor. Deb is also survived by the Filip family.
Deb started work at General Foods (now Kraft Heinz) in 1977. She worked for 35 years. Her last title was Trade Marketing Manager.
Born on July 3, 1955, Deb exuded a sharing and caring approach to life. Her kindness and generosity brought joy to everyone who knew her, and she meant so much to so many people. Deb and Sue loved spending time with family and friends, especially their many nieces and nephews. Deb will be dearly missed but always remembered.
Deb had a heart of gold and touched many people in her volunteer work with Grace Place for Families and Children, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Champions for Learning, and the Outreach Team at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM and will be held at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 8200 Immokalee Road, Naples
