Nancy Alene Maki

Nancy Alene Maki (born Franks) passed away in the early morning at her home in Jupiter, Florida on March 10th, 2023 with her husband Paul and daughters Janice and Kristen ensuring she knew she was loved. Nancy said she lived a good life in her 88 years and was at peace. Nancy loved her husband, children Janice, Kristen, Scott, David and Kari, her siblings Michael and Laura and extended families and friends. Nancy loved her childhood summers at the Posey Patch, sand dunes at Lake Michigan, exploring new places to call home, living by water, traveling all over to experience other countries. She loved playing the flute, painting pictures to give away, beating opponents in Scrabble, picking blackberries, walking in the woods, playing games, watching lightening storms. She loved family celebrations, making friends, trying new things, making something out of nothing. Nancy and Paul gifted each of their 15 grandchildren with individual trips together to know one another and create everlasting memories. Nancy relished this remarkable life she lived and she lived to make people happy. She will always be remembered with our smiles.
