

Born on June 19, 1932, in Jersey City, NJ to the late Frank Barbera and Grace J. Barbera (Parlatti). Grace is survived by her son Thomas F. (Nancy) Healy, Jr. (Fernandina Beach, FL), and granddaughters Megan Healy (Montclair, NJ) and Jayna Cox (New York, NY) from her first husband Thomas F. Healy, Sr. passed away in 1999. She is also survived by stepchildren Marie Donato, Dan Level, Tom Level, and Chris Level from her second husband of 33 years, Wayne O. Level, who preceded her in death (2018). She was also preceded in death by her younger son, John J. Healy (2005), and siblings Mildred (Andrew) Demkowicz (Lauderhill, FL), and Dominic (Ann) Barbera (Miami, FL).
Grace is survived by her sister Paula (Nick) DiMartino (Suches, GA); 9 step-grandchildren: Melanie, Kate, Kimberly, Timothy, Nicole, Michelle, Madeleine, Oliver, and Sophia; 8 step-great-grandchildren: Bennett, Emerson, John, Nathan, Anna, Olivia, Titus, and Isabella; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousin Marge whom she spoke with daily.
A spirited woman of many talents, Grace lived in New Jersey and later moved to Florida, she always sought to improve herself and expand her community of friends. She worked as a medical assistant, sales representative, office manager, and stewardess for a small island airline. She enjoyed 46 cruises with her husband Wayne. She was generous and loved shopping, especially when showering Grandchildren and neighbors with gifts. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her lively personality was contagious to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.
Grace chose to be cremated. A memorial visitation and service will be held at 10:45 am Friday, October 7, 2022, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Chapel with final internment following at the cemetery.
